Colin was absolutely wonderful. He explained everything he was going to do, and even gave what ifs. Colin accommodated to my anxious inquiry, and was understanding because of having three little children. His visit to us was very quick, and seemingly easy as well. He even made our son’s day with a little toy car. Colin the Plumber is fair priced, and very helpful, we will be recommending him in the future and will use him again if necessary!

I recently needed to replace the main water valve in my home, and I contacted Colin the Plumber for assistance. I was very impressed with the level of service that I received from one of the partners, Nick. He was highly responsive and arrived right on time. Nick was professional and courteous throughout the process and offered different solutions for the issue. He kept me updated on the progress of the repair and the job only took an hour. After replacing the valve there was a small leak on the other side of the meter but Nick repaired that quickly and even looked over some of my own plumbing work from the night before. I will definitely use Colin the Plumber for their services again in the future!

This company has done a number of different jobs for me from snaking toilets to replacing/repairing hot water heaters. They are prompt, knowledgeable and good at what they do. I call them for all jobs big and small

I had Nick come out from Colin the Plumber service (my home in Brighton, NY) and he’s beyond a plumber of his trade, the guy played with my dog, we talked life, sports, family etc. as he multitasked his duties. The work was beyond exceptional, but most of all the trust and personal nature of the service stood out. To add to this experience, pricing tops them all, willing to work with the customer. Overall service has been unmatched since joining with Colin the Plumber. The service Nick provided felt relaxing and comfortable in my own household, that’s all you can ask for as a homeowner.

Love that it's a small business and they are quick, came within 2 days of a call for a fix and was very professional, great prices and easy to get in contact with. Will use them as my go to for plumbing as I have tried almost all the major companies in the area and they are by far the best.

Colin was very prompt to my request for service, and his colleague Nick showed up within 2 hours of calling. Explained what he was going to do, and the potential costs. Within 2 hours he had the sewer line cleared out, and showed me the feed from the scope camera to show the condition of the pipe and small amounts of roots in it. The price seemed maybe a bit high compared to online searches, but I didn't get multiple quotes, and for the service I received I was still happy.

Called Colin about my basement flooding two weeks due to all the heavy rain we’ve been having. Sent Nick out to our house and he was amazing. Broke things down on what’s going on. Talked pricing and suggestions. Found out our pipes were rooted. Did a great job and kept everything clean. No more flooding and water has been running smoothly since. Will definitely be using again if anything else comes up!

I contacted Colin for information re a new hot water tank. He provided a quote via email and clearly outlined possible added expenses (ie having to possibly update venting to bring to code). It was not an emergency and he gave us a range of dates and times that worked for us over the next week. Colin was professional, honest, quick to respond and affordable. We will definitely use him again for any planned or if needed, emergency services.

We had an awwful smell and gross sludge coming up from our kitchen drains (we have two sinks.) A member of the team was at our house within an hour of us messaging them. He cleaned the drains and made some suggestions about how to best manage the issue going forward. In addition he found some deficiencies in the plumbing done by our general contractor during a major kitchen renovation two years ago. They will be back to address them in the near future. We highly recommend Colin and his company!

My water heater died today and we had water all over the basement floor. We called Colin at 11 am on a Saturday morning, he called back right away and was able to come over at 4:30, by 5:45 was had a new water heater. Colin made sure to wear covers over his boots everytime he entered the house, he was professional, courteous and friendly. He was reasonably Priced and did not charge us extra to work on Saturday. I would highly recommend Colin for any plumbing needs.

Colin is very quick to answer the call, quick to respond to a request, and quick to make the necessary repair. We had a toilet that had been installed with the wrong seat, and we weren't able to contort ourselves to undo the bolts located up inside the back of the equipment. When I explained the problem to Colin, he immediately understood what I was saying. He was pretty sure he could fix it without having to unseat the toilet and reseat it on the wax seal, which I had been assured by someone else was the only way the problem could be solved! Colin came over right when he said he would, looked at the task at hand, and within a very few minutes the job was done. Colin was awesome. He took time to explain all of our options and showed us video of the root that had invaded our sanitary pipe. He was here the same day, on-time, and efficient. I would highly recommend.

Our shower developed a leak which made using the shower nearly impossible. We called Colin, and despite his busy schedule, he came over in the evening, quickly diagnosed the source of the leak, explained to us in simple language what was wrong (water was pushing back from the faucet because the pipe to which it connected was barely long enough), and fixed it. When we told him we were new home owners, Colin went beyond the call of duty and offered to do a quick check of the basement plumbing; he noted an issue which we should keep an eye on. Colin was friendly, quick, accommodating, professional and just excellent, and we will be calling him the next time we need a plumber.

I came home recently to find water pouring through my kitchen light fixture from a leak in a bathroom pipe upstairs. Colin returned my VM right away.
